The contest to learn about the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, solidarity to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" took place from August 4 to 30, in an online format, attracting a large number of members, farmers and people to participate. The highlight of this year's contest is the application of the online contest format, taking advantage of digital technology platforms to help members participate anytime, anywhere, saving time and costs. At the same time, expanding the scope of propaganda and reaching a large number of members in rural, remote and isolated areas.

After 4 consecutive weeks of competition, the competition has been widely spread, arousing the spirit of learning among cadres, members and people. A total of 7,085 people participated; of which, 5,642 answered 100% of the questions correctly, reaching a rate of 79.6%. This is a clear demonstration of the interest, seriousness and proactive access to information of farmer members. Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Dan Dien commune, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet, said: After 4 weeks of the competition, many associations have organized well the guidance of members to participate on smartphones and computers, helping to improve digital skills, promoting the digital transformation process in association activities. Along with that, the Farmers' Associations at all levels organized for members to visit good production and business models, highly effective cultivation and livestock farming, actively encouraged farmers to link up in production, change the structure of crops and livestock, help each other with seeds, capital, working days, share production experiences to rise together, thereby contributing to spreading the competitive spirit of the competition.

Not only achieving results in quantity, the contest also discovered many typical examples and encouraged the competitive spirit of members. A typical example is Mr. Dao Phuoc Chuc, a farmer member of Hoa Chau ward. Mr. Dao Phuoc Chuc participated in all 4 weeks of the contest and excellently won the first prize in the fourth week, with an almost absolutely accurate prediction of the number of participants (with only 1 person difference). His achievement is a testament to his seriousness, investment of effort and learning spirit. Another typical example is Mr. Nguyen Ba Khanh (Quang Dien commune), who won the third prize in the third week and continued to win the encouragement prize in the fourth week. He was also the contestant with the most prizes in the entire contest, becoming a typical example inspiring farmer members throughout the city.

Sharing about the contest, Mr. Nguyen Ba Khanh said that the annual contests have attracted and encouraged a large number of members and farmers to promote the spirit of hard work, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, determined to learn and apply science and technology in production and animal husbandry. Since then, many typical examples have emerged, individuals who are good at economics in various fields, actively contributing to the local poverty reduction work. This is also a channel for us to connect and share experiences in better production and business.
