While drinking, 4 men in Long An were stung by bees and hospitalized

On the afternoon of March 3, the leader of the People's Committee of My Phu commune, Thu Thua district ( Long An ) confirmed that in Hamlet 3 of this commune, four men were suddenly stung by a swarm of bees while drinking.

Accordingly, at around 4:00 p.m. on February 29, a group of 6 men were drinking at the house of Mr. Huynh Van Chi, residing in Hamlet 3, My Phu Commune, Thu Thua District, Long An.

While drinking, four men were stung by a swarm of bees and ran everywhere.

At this moment, suddenly a swarm of bees appeared, flying around the people who were drinking and stinging their arms, hands, faces... causing 6 people to run away. Some jumped into a nearby pond to avoid them, others used their hands to chase them away and lay down on the grass.

After the swarm of bees flew away, the group went to the commune health station for first aid. Four people were taken to Long An hospital for emergency treatment. The remaining two had minor injuries and bought medicine to take home.

According to Long An hospital, of the four people hospitalized due to bee stings, three, Mr. Truong Van Duc (70 years old), Mr. Huynh Van Chi (74 years old), and Huynh Van Chinh (61 years old, all residing in My Phu commune), had grade I anaphylaxis symptoms.

Mr. Huynh Van Dan (52 years old, My Phu commune) has grade III anaphylaxis symptoms.

Currently, Mr. Duc, Chi and Chinh have been discharged from the hospital and returned home, Mr. Dan is still being treated at the hospital.
