The combined forces practicing for the parade and marching session included: 4 honor guard units; 43 units representing the people's armed forces (including 26 Army units, 17 Police units) and a number of foreign military units.
Along with that are 13 mass blocs including: Vietnamese Farmers Bloc, Great National Unity Bloc, Bloc representing 54 ethnic groups, Veterans Bloc, Former People's Police Bloc, Vietnamese Workers Bloc, Revolutionary Press Bloc, Intellectuals Bloc, Businessmen Bloc, Women Bloc, Overseas Vietnamese Bloc, Youth Bloc and Culture - Sports Bloc.
The standing forces include: Guards on the podium and 29 standing blocks (18 armed force blocks standing opposite stand A; 11 mass blocks standing on both sides of the new armed force blocks added from August 21).
The comprehensive program of parade and marching practice includes: Traditional torch procession, then military parade and marching of the blocks, in order: Parade of the honor guard block; parade of the walking blocks, vehicle blocks, military artillery; special police vehicles; parade of the masses and finally an art performance by thousands of artists, actors and the masses.
After passing through the stage at Ba Dinh Square, the parade groups split into many directions, passing through the central streets of Hanoi.
The Government E-newspaper also recorded many beautiful images of the artillery vehicles marching past the Hanoi Flag Tower, moving towards the assembly point.
