At a press conference on the evening of October 11 in Hanoi , musician Ho Hoai Anh said that in the first days when the media reported on the floods and landslides in Lao Cai, he and musician Pham Viet Tuan, a son of Lao Cai, returned to the people of Lao Cai.

The group just wanted to help as many people as possible, so they used their own money and sent messages to mobilize kind-hearted friends to help the people.
Arriving in Bac Ha, Si Ma Cai, Bat Xat, encountering extremely heartbreaking situations, Ho Hoai Anh and Pham Viet Tuan came up with the idea of organizing a music night for artists to contribute and provide more support for the people to rebuild a new life.
As a result, the Revival music night will bring more than 20 famous artists from three regions to sing to encourage revival in this land.
