Ensuring absolute security for the 2023 high school graduation exam

On the afternoon of June 19, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training held a press conference, providing some information about the organization of the 2023 high school graduation exam in the area.

According to the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, the 2023 high school graduation exam will take place from June 27-30; the whole province has 33 official exam sites, 900 exam rooms, and more than 21,000 candidates taking the exam. In addition, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training has arranged 39 exam sites, 66 backup exam rooms, and 48 waiting rooms.

This exam in Dak Lak has the participation of nearly 3,000 officials (not including the exam inspection force) in areas such as: exam invigilation, supervision, security, health ...

According to Mr. Pham Dang Khoa, Director of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, the provincialeducation sector has implemented many synchronous measures such as issuing directive documents, preparing facilities, organizing teaching and learning, reviewing for students taking the exam, training in invigilation and inspection skills... to ensure that the 2023 high school graduation exam in the area takes place safely, honestly, objectively and fairly.

Regarding ensuring security and order during this year's exam, Mr. Khoa said that the Department of Education and Training has worked with the Dak Lak Provincial Police to take measures to ensure absolute security. In addition, the Department of Education and Training has also issued many documents directing schools to strengthen propaganda work, creating a stable mentality for students participating in the exam after a group of people attacked the headquarters of 2 communes of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur, Cu Kuin district on June 11, causing the deaths of a number of officers, police officers and civilians.

Mr. Khoa emphasized: "The police force has a specific plan to ensure security and order. The Department of Education and Training also coordinates with agencies and organizations to ensure that no student will miss the exam this year. Students in remote areas, students with disabilities or those in difficult circumstances will be provided with accommodation, transportation, etc."

In addition, Mr. Khoa said that the leaders of the Department of Education and Training have directed the heads and deputy heads of examination sites to update the situation and report results to the department after each exam session in order to have official information and provide it promptly to the press.

At the press conference, a representative of Dak Lak Provincial Police added that after the incident on June 11, the situation has now stabilized. However, Dak Lak Provincial Police anticipated that students might be psychologically affected after the incident, so they proactively consulted and coordinated with schools and police at all levels in the area to deploy many measures to promote and stabilize the psychology of students taking the exam and ensure absolute security and order at the exam sites.
