Dealers slash prices, iPhone 16 Pro hits rock bottom

After many reductions, the price of the iPhone 16 series in Vietnam is currently low, about 10-20% cheaper than the opening sale. The iPhone 16 Pro Max with basic memory is under about 30 million VND. Meanwhile, the 16 Pro is priced from 25 million VND.

This stage also has the participation of e-commerce platforms. Shopee launches many discount codes, not only on double days, optimized for users buying high-value products such as iPhones. Customers can reduce an additional 2.7-3 million VND when buying Apple phones on this platform. Apple products have been the top revenue on this platform for many years.

At one point, the iPhone 16 Pro was under 23 million VND, down about 6 million VND, or more than 20% compared to when it was launched. Similarly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max line also dropped to the 28-29 million VND segment. Compared to neighboring markets, this price is currently significantly lower.

However, users do not have many options for memory and color versions when buying on e-commerce platforms. On the other hand, high-value products make some customers worry when buying online. The platform also strictly controls promotions for this item. Many users said their Shopee accounts were locked when applying discount codes to buy iPhones due to policy abuse.

At the dealer, users can also buy the iPhone 16 series at this price through payment promotions or trade-in (old for new). "The lowest price for the iPhone 16 Pro can reach 20 million VND if all incentives are applied," Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, representative of the CellphoneS system, told Tri Thuc - Znews.

Vietnamese users can buy the above model at one of the lowest prices in the world . During this period, only in the Chinese market, where the government is implementing a "national incentive" policy to stimulate shopping, can the iPhone 16 have a similar price.

The second quarter of each year is the “low season” for mobile sales, especially for the iPhone. The product is at the end of its life cycle, past the pre- and post-Lunar New Year shopping season. This is also the time when manufacturers and dealers look to stimulate demand by offering discounts.

According to retailers, among the models currently on sale, the Pro model is under the greatest inventory pressure. The Pro Max has stable purchasing power and is of interest to domestic customers. The iPhone 16/16 Plus/16e models have a long life cycle and will continue to be sold even when the next generation is launched.

Mr. Phan Tran Thanh, Deputy Director of Apple products at FPT Shop, said that this is the best time of the year to buy an iPhone for customers who care about price. "Preparing to enter the launch phase of iPhone 17, both the company and retailers are looking for ways to boost sales of the previous product line," he added.
