The Faculty of Architecture, Hanoi University of Architecture has just successfully organized the AA AWARDS 2024 award ceremony - the 2024 architectural achievement award, to honor the best projects from the student project system in the 2023-2024 school year.
This is an annual award, demonstrating the future vision of the field of architecture through projects that are highly appreciated by the professional council.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Dr. Architect Vuong Hai Long, Head of the Faculty of Architecture, expressed that the number of projects completed by students of the Faculty of Architecture each year is more than 2,500. To honor creative and unique projects and encourage the competitive learning movement among all students, in 2019, the faculty established the AA AWARDS.

After 4 times of organization, AA AWARDS has been recognized as a school-level award and highly appreciated by society, achieving many remarkable results. In this 5th organization, the award has a special meaning associated with the milestone of 55 years of establishment and development of the Faculty of Architecture.
AA AWARDS 2024 gathered more than 2,500 participating projects, going through the judging rounds at the workshop, faculty and school levels. The Jury based on basic criteria honored 8 First prizes, 8 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes, 31 Council prizes and 1 prize of the year.
According to the jury, this year’s architectural projects demonstrate richness and diversity in themes, in line with practical development trends, and integration of new technologies. Many students have focused on urgent global issues such as environmental protection and sustainable development. This is truly an encouraging change, reflecting the common spirit of the modern world .
Dr. Architect Vuong Hai Long presented the Student of the Year Award to student Le Hong Son - Class President 20K+.
In addition, some topics also research and promote cultural elements and local identity, highlighting creativity and uniqueness in design. In particular, most of the projects are presented professionally with rigorous scientific research and analysis methods. In particular, the elements of innovation, creativity and humanity will be focused on and highly appreciated by the jury.
AA AWARDS is not only a launching pad to encourage creativity, but also an opportunity for young architectural talents to shine and affirm their value in a field full of potential.
