On the evening of June 22, at the East Sea Park (Son Tra District, Da Nang City), the art program "Colors of Son La" officially took place. This is one of a series of events promoting tourism and culture of Son La province within the framework of the Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2025.
The program was organized by the People's Committee of Son La province, with elaborate staging, imbued with the breath of the Northwest mountains and forests, attracting a large number of people and tourists.
“Colors of Son La” is a prominent cultural highlight of the event, vividly recreating the festival space, customs, and rich spiritual life of the ethnic communities living in the Northwestern border region.
On stage, the bustling Solidarity Dances and the performance of Thai Xoe art - an intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO - left the audience amazed and delighted.
Not only Xoe Thai, the show also takes the audience on a "travel" to Son La plateau through a series of performances imbued with ethnic colors: bell dance of the Dao ethnic group, Tha khenh dance of the Mong ethnic group, Tung con, Nhay sap or Tang Cau ritual with Han Khuong space of the Thai ethnic group.
All blend together to create a vibrant cultural picture, imbued with the identity of the highlands.
According to Ms. Trang Thi Xuan - Permanent Vice Chairwoman of Son La Provincial People's Committee, the art program "Colors of Son La" is an opportunity for Son La to spread traditional cultural values, and at the same time connect and exchange with friends and tourists in the coastal city of Da Nang - one of the leading tourist centers in the country.
