Da Nang opens the 2024 Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Festival

The Spring Newspaper Festival is one of the annual activities of the Da Nang General Science Library and the Da Nang Journalists Association to honor and promote reading culture in the first days of the new year, contributing to Da Nang's response to the activities of Celebrating the Party - Welcoming Spring, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people on the eve of the new year 2024 as well as celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024).

The 2024 Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Festival and the exhibition of artistic photography works welcoming Spring will take place until February 18 (the 9th day of the first lunar month).

This year, the organizers displayed 250 central newspapers, 63 local newspapers, 200 copies of the book celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, 50 works of art photography with the theme "Colors of Da Nang", electronic spring newspaper and organized calligraphy writing activities, checking in at the old Tet miniature landscape space.

This is an activity to honor the achievements of the publishing, press and art photography industries through the display and exhibition of Spring newspaper publications of the Central and local governments of 63 provinces and cities across the country; display and exhibit new and unique art photography works about Da Nang, display information resources to celebrate the Party and welcome Spring, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people on the occasion of welcoming the new year of Giap Thin.

The 2024 Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Festival takes place at the General Science Library until February 18.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Nam, Chairman of the Da Nang Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Da Nang Newspaper, the press products displayed at the Giap Thin Spring Press Festival 2024 clearly demonstrate innovation in content and form with many creative approaches, suitable for the digital transformation journey, reflecting diverse fields, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, spreading beautiful images of life on the progress of localities and the whole country.
