Contest 'Beautiful Photos - Impressive Videos about Southern Khanh Hoa in 2025'

On the morning of August 5, at Vinh Hy Resort, Vinh Hai Commune, Khanh Hoa Province, Ninh Thuan Tourism Association held a press conference to launch the contest "Beautiful Photos - Impressive Videos about Southern Khanh Hoa in 2025", aiming to promote the natural beauty, culture and people of the southern region of Khanh Hoa Province (formerly Ninh Thuan) to tourists.

Chairman of Ninh Thuan Tourism Association Nguyen Anh Vu stated: In order for the tourism industry in the Southern region to continue to make breakthroughs, towards developing into green tourism, it is very important to promote and introduce the potential, advantages as well as mechanisms and policies to attract investment in tourism development. In particular, information, propaganda and promotion from media agencies are very necessary.

The organizers hope to select excellent photography and video works, capturing the majestic natural beauty, unique destinations, festivals, cuisine and images of friendly and hospitable people in the southern region of Khanh Hoa province. Works with high artistic value and strong influence will contribute to effectively promoting the local image to tourists.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living and working in Vietnam. The organizers have suggested many unique landscapes, blue sea - white sand - golden sunshine for authors to create works for the contest. The time to receive entries starts from August 5 to September 30. The announcement and award ceremony is expected to take place on October 1, 2025. The total value of the prizes for the First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes is more than 60 million VND; the prize for the First Prize photo is 10 million VND; the video is 20 million VND.

The winning works will be selected for use in tourism promotion and communication activities about the southern region of Khanh Hoa province on media, websites, promotional publications, festivals, and domestic and international tourism events.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, since the beginning of the year, tourism in the southern region of the province has recorded many positive changes. The Ninh Thuan Tourism Association has effectively exploited the available potential, especially sea tourism and cultural tourism associated with preserving the heritage of ethnic groups. Many new and unique tourism products, imbued with the identity of the old Ninh Thuan land, have been introduced.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the number of tourists coming to the southern part of the province increased sharply, with nearly 3 million visitors coming to experience and relax; of which domestic visitors reached 2.8 million; international visitors reached over 100,000. This is a positive signal contributing to the development of the tourism industry, contributing to the double-digit GRDP growth target that Khanh Hoa has set.
