“Moving Forward with Vietnam” is a community activity of unprecedented scale and significance, taking place at a special moment when the whole country is entering a new stage of development along with the rearrangement of administrative units.

From July 25 to August 16, 2025, people nationwide can register online on the official electronic portal: cungvietnamtienbuoc.nhandan.vn and start recording their steps to contribute to the journey with the message "1 billion steps towards a new era" - a practical activity demonstrating patriotism, reducing carbon emissions and moving towards the country's Net Zero goal.
In particular, from 6:00 to 7:30 a.m. on August 16, 2025, program participants nationwide will wear red shirts with yellow stars, turn to the historic Ba Dinh Square to watch the national flag-raising ceremony, sing the national anthem in unison, and march forward for a united, strong, and sustainable Vietnam.

This is not only a sports event responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland", but also a journey of millions of hearts beating together - a place where all generations and all classes of people from central to local, from urban to rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas converge.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh said that on the morning of August 16, before the national walk takes place, the program will have a direct connection with the flag-raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square.
