The Department of Civil Affairs, General Department of Politics inspects the results of civil affairs work of the provincial armed forces.

On September 9, the working delegation of the Department of Mass Mobilization, General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People's Army, led by Colonel Vu Thanh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Mass Mobilization, inspected the implementation results of the contents and component projects in the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in 2025 at the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province.

Colonel Vu Thanh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Affairs chaired the inspection.

The inspection delegation focused on the following contents: Military officers and soldiers helping children go to school; fostering ethnic languages ​​and knowledge; propagating and mobilizing people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in association with national defense and security tasks; results of implementing mass mobilization work of the provincial armed forces in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Through inspection, it was found that from 2021 to 2025, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command has organized the nurturing and support of 32 disadvantaged students in the area; coordinated with the Provincial Continuing Education Center to organize Mong language training for 50 cadres and employees in agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command. The Provincial Military Command also regularly directs agencies and units to coordinate in promoting propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, State policies and laws in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Propagating policies on local economic , cultural - social development, national defense and security; traditions and cultures of ethnic groups; citizens' rights and obligations... 5,100 leaflets were distributed to over 6,900 people; 35 propaganda sessions were organized with the participation of more than 5,550 people.

Concluding the inspection, Deputy Director of the Department of Mass Mobilization Vu Thanh Minh emphasized the profound significance of the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas. The Military Command of Tuyen Quang Province needs to continue to seriously grasp, closely direct, and more effectively implement the contents and component projects of the National Target Program. At the same time, proactively study documents and instructions from all levels to ensure effective operations, in accordance with functions and tasks. Cadres who have been trained in the Mong ethnic language need to work and participate in activities in the Mong ethnic minority areas to cultivate and improve their ability to communicate in the ethnic language; do a good job of advising and proposing to local Party committees and authorities, promptly resolving and handling complex situations arising from the grassroots.
