On November 30, Tuoi Tre Online obtained the financial report on business activities for the first 6 months of 2024 of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Lottery State-owned One Member Co., Ltd.

This report is submitted by the company to the Department of Finance and the Provincial People's Committee annually.

According to this report, in the first 6 months of 2024, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Lottery One Member State Limited Company achieved revenue of more than 252.9 billion VND.

Of which, revenue from lottery business reached 252.6 billion VND. The majority of this figure was from selling traditional lottery tickets with more than 238.6 billion VND. Scratch lottery reached more than 9.4 billion VND and peel lottery reached more than 4.5 billion VND.

After paying taxes, the company's profit in the first 6 months of the year reached more than 9.6 billion VND.

In the balance sheet that the company submitted to the provincial authorities, as of June 30, 2024, the company had a bonus risk reserve of more than 14.9 billion VND.

Also in the first 6 months of 2024, the company paid out more than 136.2 billion VND to winners, of which more than 127.8 billion VND to traditional lottery winners.

Mr. Tran Viet Nguyen, Chairman of the State-owned One Member Limited Liability Company of Thua Thien Hue Province Lottery, said that the company has not been able to provide information related to its business activities, the number of lottery tickets issued and collected daily up to the present time, after the unit refused to pay the prize for the torn special prize lottery ticket.
