2025 is the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training requires equivalent conversion of input thresholds and admission scores of admission methods and combinations according to the Ministry's general instructions.
Currently, universities have announced the equivalent score conversion formula between admission methods according to the Ministry's regulations. Of which, at least 13 schools provide automatic score conversion tools.

The deadline for registering for university and college admissions in 2025 closes at 5:00 p.m. on July 28. After registering and adjusting university admissions in 2025, from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of admissions online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
From August 16 to August 20, the Ministry of Education and Training will process admission applications (virtual filtering). At 5:00 p.m. on August 20, training institutions will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results.
Thus, from the afternoon of August 20, universities can start announcing admission scores. The results of the first round of admission must be announced no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
After knowing the admission score, all admitted candidates (including direct admission candidates) must confirm their enrollment on the system (if they wish to study) before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
From September 1 to December, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds of the training institution, follow the admission information posted on the training institution's admission information page.
