The Congress was honored to welcome Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security to attend and direct.
On the provincial leadership side, attending the Congress were comrades: Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.
The 1st Lam Dong Provincial Police Party Congress took place in the context of the entire Party, people and army determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and compete to achieve achievements to welcome the 14th National Party Congress, celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The congress was attended by 160 official delegates representing more than 4,000 party members operating in 30 grassroots party organizations under the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and 124 police chiefs of communes, wards and special zones.
At the official session, delegates focused on summarizing and objectively and comprehensively evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Public Security Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, they determined the directions, goals, and key tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
Delegates frankly exchanged, discussed, clarified shortcomings and limitations, drew lessons and proposed specific solutions, determined to overcome them, contributing to the development of the Party in the coming period.
At the same time, delegates also contributed comments to the draft documents submitted to the 8th Central Public Security Congress, the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, and the 14th National Party Congress.
The delegates agreed and voted to approve the important tasks and targets of the term. In particular, 3 key and breakthrough tasks were identified.
That is: Improving the quality and effectiveness of public security work measures; being exemplary and taking the lead in implementing the policies of the Party and the State; building a team of quality cadres with sufficient moral qualities, prestige, capacity, specialization, innovative thinking, dynamism, creativity, responsibility, enthusiasm, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good.
Speaking at the Congress, Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen praised the achievements of Lam Dong Police over the past 5 years. At the same time, he pointed out 6 key tasks that Lam Dong Provincial Police need to focus on and perform well in this term.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen emphasized that Lam Dong is the largest locality in the country, so it is necessary to proactively grasp the situation and deploy early and remote preventive measures against criminal activities. This is an important factor that determines the effectiveness of security and order assurance work.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen stated that the provincial police leaders need to proactively grasp the situation and prevent criminal activities, especially issues related to ethnic minorities, borders and the East Sea. Speaking at the Congress, comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the achievements of the past term, especially the sense of responsibility and the thoughtful and thorough preparation of the Congress by the Provincial Public Security Party Committee.
Comrade Ho Van Muoi clearly stated 5 key contents that the Provincial Public Security Party Committee must implement in the coming time. In particular, he emphasized the task of protecting security and order; strengthening the building and consolidating the movement of the entire people to protect the national security, associated with a solid national defense posture.
In the coming time, the provincial police force needs to pay more attention to training and self-training in science and technology, not only to spread the awareness of learning and training in technology within the force, but also to all civil servants and public employees of the province.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the Provincial Police force needs to actively take the lead in implementing the Party's policies. The focus is on implementing the four pillars, which are also the four resolutions of the Politburo, namely: Resolutions No. 57, 59, 66, 68.
The provincial police force needs to take the lead in digital transformation, strongly reform administrative procedures to serve the people, support businesses to develop their strengths, and actively contribute to the goal of economic growth. In particular, it is required to change the state from "running and lining up" to "straight lines, clear paths, unanimously moving forward".
Comrade Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his belief that in the coming term, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Party Committee, with its solidarity, unity and determination, will have many changes, further progress and gain many new victories in Party building, force building and performing the task of protecting local security and order.
