Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense highly appreciated the preparation work and determination for the new season of The Cong Viettel .

Let’s continue with the spirit of the “Red Storm”, continue to attack beautifully, effectively and attractively. You will always be the pride of the soldiers of the whole army and of the Vietnamese people who love the military team.”
Colonel Do Manh Dung - Director of Viettel Sports Company affirmed: "Entering the new season, the whole team will compete with a spirit of courage, discipline, honesty and dedication for the flag and colors of The Cong, for the trust of the people and the Army, to complete the goal of conquering the championship of V.League 2025-2026".
According to the schedule, The Cong Viettel will face Cong An Ha Noi in the "Capital derby" in the opening match of V.League. Evaluating this opponent, head coach Velizar Popov said: "We will meet all teams so it doesn't matter who is the first opponent. The most important thing is how you finish the season. But as usual, we will be determined to win the match".
Looking forward to the new 2025-2026 season, The Cong Viettel has recruited 9 new players, including 5 domestic players and 4 foreign players, along with overseas Vietnamese players such as Vu Thanh, Colonna, Williams Lee Oliver Grant... This is also the season in which the army team has brought in the most new players in recent years.
