On the afternoon of January 3, Cat Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Hai district (Cat Hai town, Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city) to organize the program "Border Spring warms the hearts of coastal people".
In the spirit of mutual love, Cat Hai Border Guard Station and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Hai district presented 40 gifts (VND 500,000/gift); presented 40 national flags to policy households and families in difficult circumstances in Cat Hai district.
At the same time, the program also took place meaningful and practical activities such as: Organizing folk games; Medical examination and free medicine distribution for people; Banh chung wrapping contest between officers and soldiers of Cat Hai Border Guard Station and Doan Don Luong cluster (Cat Hai town).
Colonel Kieu Manh Hiep, Deputy Political Commissar of the City Border Guard, said: “Spring Border Guard warms the hearts of coastal people” is a very meaningful and practical activity in response to the emulation movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind”. This annual activity also helps connect the military and people, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
The program "Warm Border Spring for the People of the Sea" in Cat Hai district is the program that started a series of activities of officers and soldiers of the Border Guard of Hai Phong City joining hands for a warm spring, a happy Tet for people in coastal and island areas.
According to the plan, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Hai Phong City Border Guard Command and other units will present 387 gifts with a total value of over 260 million VND, 750 kg of rice and 200 national flags to policy families and those in difficult circumstances, contributing to bringing Tet to the people of the coastal areas of Hai Phong City.
