Continuing the revolutionary tradition
Participating in this year's National Mobile Propaganda Competition, the Dong Nai provincial cultural sector has worked hard to prepare an art program with the theme: Dong Nai and the August epic. The program includes 6 song and dance performances, combining tradition and modernity: Under the victorious military flag, Far away land, Uncle Ho's love brightens our lives, The mother mending the flag, The gong echoes in the D War Zone,
Glory of the Vietnamese Fatherland. Each performance is a slice of history, recalling the heroic spirit of the Vietnamese people during the revolutionary autumn days.
That is the image of a Vietnamese mother quietly mending the flag amid the smoke and fire, the image of the red flag with a yellow star fluttering in the bustling atmosphere of the historic autumn, the sacred affection for Uncle Ho and the sound of Dong Nai gongs resounding, affirming the strength of great national unity... Along with retelling history through songs and chants, artists and actors also use the form of dramatization, presenting documents and images, spreading the message of the August Revolution to the public in a lively and attractive way.
Ms. Ton Thi Thanh Tinh, Director of Dong Nai Culture - Cinema Center, said: Dong Nai is a land rich in patriotic traditions, has long been a "bright spot" in propaganda and education of revolutionary history. This year, the unit representing the provincial cultural sector participated in the National Mobile Propaganda Contest, demonstrating both a sense of responsibility and an active contribution to preserving and promoting patriotic traditions, national pride, honoring and expressing gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations.
“We identify this as an important political task in 2025, with the meaning that Dong Nai and the whole country are looking forward to celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Artists and propagandists of the unit continue the tradition, bringing the highest spirit of service to the competition, through artistic performances, breathing new life, bringing the history and culture of Vietnam and Dong Nai closer to the people, especially today's young generation" - Ms. Ton Thi Thanh Tinh shared.
As the main vocalist in the performance Gong Vang Chien Khu D, artist An Le collaborated with 2 young artists to create a majestic and profound arrangement. For her, being able to stand on the big stage to perform when the whole country is looking forward to the important holidays of the country is an honor and pride. The song not only has high artistic value, but also awakens in the hearts of viewers and listeners proud memories of a time of indomitable struggle of the army and people of Chien Khu D - the cradle of the revolution in the Southeast region.
From August 4 to 9, Dong Nai participated in the National Mobile Propaganda Contest to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), with the theme: Dong Nai and the August epic.
