According to forecasts in the next 72 hours, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction, at a speed of 20-25km/hour and continue to strengthen.
According to the warning, the weather at sea and in coastal areas during the storm is extremely dangerous, unsafe for any means or structures operating in the danger zone such as: cruise ships, passenger ships, transport ships, cages, rafts, aquaculture areas, dykes, embankments, coastal routes. Vehicles are highly likely to be capsized, destroyed, flooded due to strong winds, big waves and rising sea levels.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested that departments, branches, localities, agencies, units, organizations, and unions proactively monitor forecast information and developments of storms; promptly direct and deploy disaster response work; review and complete scenarios and plans to respond to storms, floods, inundation, landslides, flash floods, and landslides according to the "4 on-site" motto suitable for each locality, especially in mountainous areas where isolation is likely to occur.
At the same time, proactively evacuate people from dangerous areas, ensure safety of people's lives, limit damage to people's property; deploy work to ensure safety of people, vehicles, and property; especially for tourist destinations, aquaculture, fishing, and constructions at sea, islands, coastal areas, rivers, streams, hills, mountains, mineral exploitation, etc.
Along with that, focus on directing and immediately implementing measures to ensure safety for ships, vehicles and activities at sea and along the coast, especially to prevent storms and lightning that can cause damage before the storm hits.
Irrigation and hydropower reservoir management units shall be on duty 24/7; inspect and monitor dams, promptly detect and handle incidents; closely monitor rainfall and water level developments in reservoirs, regularly report to superior management agencies; properly notify and inform downstream areas, and operate and regulate reservoirs to ensure proper operating procedures.
At the meeting, the City People's Committee announced the decision to establish the Da Nang City Civil Defense Command Committee, with Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet as Head of the Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung as Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee.
The City Civil Defense Command replaces the City Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense Command. The Committee is responsible for advising, developing and implementing civil defense plans and disaster prevention and control plans in the management area; receiving and processing information from Call Center 112 regarding incidents and disasters occurring in the city; advising and proposing to the Chairman of the City People's Committee to issue decisions to promulgate or abolish civil defense levels.
The Advisory Board assists the Chairman of the City People's Committee in commanding forces to prevent, respond to, and overcome incidents and disasters; deciding on urgent measures, mobilizing resources within its authority; organizing the reception and allocation of support and relief resources to carry out civil defense tasks in the management area.
Advise on organization, force building and information dissemination, knowledge dissemination, raising public awareness of civil defense; advise, guide, monitor, and inspect relevant departments, branches, sectors, and agencies in implementing civil defense plans and disaster prevention and control plans.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward, commune, and special zone shall establish a civil defense command committee at the commune level to ensure direction and operation of civil defense in the management area.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Standing Office of the City Civil Defense Command to promptly issue operating regulations and coordination regulations to effectively organize and promptly manage the operations of Call Center 112; propose means and equipment for the operations of the civil defense force.
Communes and wards that have not been established must be established promptly, and at the same time, regulations on operations, coordination, and assignment of specific tasks must be issued quickly in the spirit of "6 clear".
