The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Peter Brabeck-Letmathe on his new responsibility; affirmed that the WEF will continue to be a prestigious global dialogue mechanism, a channel connecting public and private sectors, and promoting multilateral cooperation very effectively.
The Prime Minister welcomed the themes and priorities of this year's WEF Tianjin, which accurately reflect important issues of the regional and global economy , with many contents consistent with Vietnam's current major priorities and policies.
The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam always appreciates the role of the World Economic Forum and is pleased to see the Vietnam-WEF relationship developing well, becoming increasingly deeper and more substantial.
The Prime Minister asked WEF to support the effective operation of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Center in Ho Chi Minh City, making the center one of the models in the WEF network, a driving force to promote the application of advanced technologies in key areas of the future economy.
The Prime Minister also proposed that WEF promote connecting Vietnam with global corporations and businesses, support attracting high-quality investment; and upgrade the Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum to become the annual WEF Autumn Economic Forum.

Mr. Peter Brabeck-Letmathe thanked Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for accepting the invitation to attend WEF Tianjin 2025; affirmed his respect and appreciation for Vietnam's proactive and active participation and contributions at WEF conferences; and expressed his gratitude for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's support and companionship with WEF activities over the years.
Mr. Peter Brabeck-Letmathe also highly appreciated Vietnam's flexible and effective economic management and its independent, self-reliant, multilateral and diversified foreign policy; shared his feelings and personal attachment to the country and people of Vietnam through his visits and investment activities in Vietnam.
Acknowledging the Prime Minister's proposals and committing to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam, especially in the strong and comprehensive implementation of the Vietnam - WEF Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (signed in Tianjin in 2023) with substantive projects and quantifiable results; contributing to expanding cooperation between Vietnam and members and partners of the World Economic Forum.

WEF Executive Chairman Borge Brende highly appreciated Vietnam's development achievements, GDP growth of more than 7% in 2024, as well as the impressive double-digit growth target in the coming years, contrary to the downward trend of global economic growth.
Mr. Brende affirmed that Vietnam is an attraction of WEF and the WEF business community is very interested in Vietnam.
The Prime Minister's dialogue events for 3 consecutive years at WEF Conferences have always created deep impressions, inspiring with strong messages, helping businesses better understand Vietnam's policies and pay more attention, learn about opportunities to promote investment in Vietnam.
