Bamboo Airways Chairman resigns

(Dan Tri) - Bamboo Airways Chairman Phan Dinh Tue has submitted his resignation. This decision will be discussed and approved at the extraordinary meeting of the company scheduled to take place in early July.

Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company has just announced the documents for the 2025 extraordinary general meeting of shareholders. The meeting is scheduled to be held on July 5 in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the document, Mr. Phan Dinh Tue - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways - has submitted his resignation. Bamboo Airways will meet and approve the dismissal of Mr. Phan Dinh Tue as well as elect additional members of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term.

To replace Mr. Tue, the company will elect an additional member to the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term. Currently, the list of candidates has not been announced by Bamboo Airways.

Bamboo Airways also dismissed the members of the Board of Supervisors, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Gam, Mr. Pham Van Phung and Mr. Vu Minh Tuan. All three of them also submitted their resignations. Currently, Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors has 5 members, including Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, Le Thai Sam, Nguyen Ngoc Trong, Le Ba Nguyen and Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Quynh.

Mr. Phan Dinh Tue has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways since February 2024. Previously, he joined the airline in June 2023 as a member of the Board of Directors, then as Permanent Vice Chairman.

Mr. Tue is introduced to have extensive experience in the field of finance and banking and has held the position of Deputy General Director of Sacombank since 2012.
