An Giang Provincial Armed Forces compete in innovation, digital transformation and popular digital education

On the morning of August 7, the Military Command of An Giang province launched the emulation movement "Provincial armed forces compete in innovation, digital transformation" and "digital literacy for the masses". Colonel Huynh Van Khoi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command attended and chaired the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Colonel Huynh Van Khoi, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command and the Emulation and Reward Council of the Provincial Armed Forces, launched an emulation movement throughout the entire force to carry out the following contents: Emulation to promote propaganda and education work, creating a strong change in awareness and responsibility for Party committees, commanders at all levels and officers and soldiers in terms of innovation in thinking, digital transformation, development of science and technology, innovation, and innovation in leadership methods;

Compete to ensure synchronous investment in digital infrastructure, creating a solid foundation for digital transformation; compete to promote digital transformation, apply science , technology, and innovation in performing military, defense, and administrative reform tasks; compete to build digital agencies and digital units;

Extensively deploy the movement "Digital literacy for the masses", focusing on implementing the goal of popularizing digital knowledge and basic digital skills for officers and soldiers, arousing the spirit of learning, promoting the emulation movement with the motto "those who know teach those who don't know, those who know a lot teach those who know little about digital transformation", organize "Digital practice hours", "Digital skills festival", linking the emulation movement with the implementation of the Project "Building a learning society in the army by 2030 and the following years", emulation movements are being implemented in the provincial armed forces.

The emulation movement will be deployed and organized from 2025 - 2030, divided into 2 phases. Phase 1, from 2025 - 2027 and Phase 2, from 2027 - 2030.

At the ceremony, representatives of the heads of the General Staff, Political and Logistics - Technical Departments, the Border Guard Command, the Defense Commands of Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Regiment 892, Regiment 893, and the Provincial Military Command signed the emulation covenant.
