On the track, Laibo 2 had to climb two steep hills, adjust its speed and avoid surrounding athletes. (Photo: trstdly) The previous version failed when the battery ran out after 37km in a race last year. (Photo: The Independent)
After the failure, the research team improved the software and hardware to help the robot maintain a stable speed, especially on uphill and downhill sections. Developers say Laibo 2 can run up to 67km after improvements, surpassing Spot - the famous robot of Boston Dynamics. (Photo: RaiLab Kaist) Dear readers, please watch more videos : Elon Musk releases photos of him hugging and kissing his "robot wife": Artificial intelligence is shocking.
