BHG - At around 2 a.m. on June 10, a serious fire broke out at the central market of Yen Minh district, burning down many stalls and the property of small traders.
According to initial information, the fire broke out in the grocery area of the merchant, then quickly spread to the surrounding stalls because most of the kiosks and goods were flammable materials. Immediately after the fire broke out, the functional forces of Yen Minh district were present in time to control the fire, coordinated with the police, militia and local people to actively put out the fire and move assets out of the dangerous area. At about 3:30 a.m., the fire was basically extinguished. There were no human casualties in the fire, however, initial estimates are that many kiosks were burned down, many goods of the merchants were burned, causing great economic damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
Yen Minh district authorities were present at the scene to direct the work of overcoming the consequences, count the damage and encourage the traders.
