Can Tho issues new standards for commune-level civil servant titles

(Chinhphu.vn) - Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 2570/UBND-NC on new standards for commune-level civil servant titles.

Accordingly, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen assigned the People's Committees of districts to coordinate with Party committees at the same level to urgently review the quantity, standards, professional qualifications, experience, and practical capacity of the current team of district-level cadres, civil servants, and public employees; develop an objective and impartial personnel arrangement and assignment plan, ensuring quality and suitability for the job positions of new commune-level civil servants according to the functions and tasks of the agencies and units under the People's Council and People's Committee of the new commune level.

The arrangement and assignment of cadres, civil servants and public employees (CBCCVC) at the new commune level must be associated with restructuring and improving the quality of the team of CBCCVC, contributing to improving the efficiency of the state apparatus, serving the people and businesses well.

At the same time, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City requested to proactively do a good job in political and ideological work, create high solidarity and unity among the staff; promptly implement policies and regimes for cases of voluntary early retirement, resignation or failure to meet the standards and conditions to be assigned as new commune-level staff; at the same time, it is necessary to have measures to handle or promptly detect and propose to competent authorities to direct and handle related issues arising in practice.

Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs of Can Tho City is assigned to closely follow the progress, policies, orientations and regulations of competent authorities; advise the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee to effectively implement the arrangement and assignment of new commune-level cadres, civil servants and public employees and the regime and policies for cases of voluntary early retirement, resignation or failure to meet the standards and conditions to be assigned as new commune-level cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Coordinate with the Organizing Committee of Can Tho City Party Committee and relevant agencies and units to advise competent authorities on the arrangement of cadres under the management of the City Party Committee and People's Committee in new communes and wards to ensure strictness, thoroughness, democracy, objectivity, transparency, fairness, impartiality, and compliance with the principles and regulations of the Party and State.
