Water traffic through Mang Thit bridge is limited in time for construction.

Specifically, from June 28 to July 20, 2024, waterway traffic through the Mang Thit bridge area will be restricted to the level of a ban on traffic. The ban time in the morning is from 6:30 to 11:30; in the afternoon from 13:30 to 18:30.

The Inland Waterways Sub-Department of Region III said that the construction area is equipped with an inland waterway signaling system. At the same time, there are forces to regulate, control, and guide to ensure traffic order and safety.

"Vehicles traveling to this area must strictly follow the instructions of the inland waterway signaling system and the on-site regulatory force," the Inland Waterways Sub-Department, Region III, recommended.

Previously, in May 2024, a traffic accident occurred in the Mang Thit bridge area, damaging some cross beams of the new Mang Thit bridge.

To ensure the safety of vehicles while waiting for repairs and damage, Road Management Area IV limits vehicles with a load capacity of less than 10 tons and less than 30 seats to be allowed to pass through the bridge. The minimum distance between two adjacent vehicles is 35m.
