Ingredients: 910 grams of thick, boneless beef ribs; 10 cloves of garlic; 3 tablespoons brown sugar; 5 tablespoons soy sauce; 2 tablespoons oyster sauce; 1 tablespoon fish sauce; 1 tablespoon granulated sugar; 2 tablespoons white vinegar; 2 tablespoons water; 1 red onion; 2 bunches of watercress; 3 tomatoes; 2 tablespoons vegetable oil; black pepper.
Instruct:
- Chop garlic, slice onion. Cut beef into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix beef with garlic, brown sugar, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce and black pepper. Stir well to coat beef and marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, white vinegar and water. Add red onion slices to the mixture to soak.
- Wash and slice the tomatoes. Then arrange the watercress and tomatoes on a plate to make it look nice.
- Heat a pan over high heat, then add vegetable oil. When the oil starts to boil, rotate the pan so that the oil coats the bottom of the pan. Add half of the beef and stir, shaking the pan, until the meat is slightly charred and cooked through (3-5 minutes). Set the meat aside and repeat with the remaining beef.
- Arrange the beef on top of the prepared watercress and tomatoes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and pickled red onions. Add some hot rice and your family meal is perfect.
