On June 8, Mr. Tran Quang Hai, owner of Hai Trinh lottery agency (Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province) confirmed that a lucky customer won the special prize of 14 lottery tickets, worth 28 billion VND.
According to Mr. Hai, the lottery winner is a 29-year-old man from Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak) who is currently working as a worker in Dong Nai. The lottery ticket with the special prize number 919582 was drawn by Binh Thuan Lottery Company on June 5.
Mr. Hai said that around the early afternoon of June 5, a young man visited the branch in Dong Xoai City (Binh Phuoc) and bought a batch of 14 tickets with the number 919582.
According to Mr. Hai, this young man works as a worker at a company in Dong Nai province, this is not the first time he has bought lottery tickets from my branch. Recently, on the way back to his hometown in Dak Lak by motorbike, he bought a whole pack of 14 lottery tickets. In the afternoon of the same day, the lottery results were announced, and the agent repeatedly called the young man but could not reach him. It was almost 8:00 p.m. when they were able to contact him. The two sides discussed and that same night, Mr. Hai's group went to Dak Lak to exchange the winning numbers for the customer.
“When he heard he won the lottery, he couldn’t believe it. His whole family stayed up all night waiting, calling him constantly. After we finished talking on the phone, I also drove all night and didn’t get there until 4am the next morning,” said Hai.
According to Mr. Hai, the young man's family still has many difficulties, living in a rural area, about 50-60km from the center. The young man is not married and is living with his parents, the family has many siblings.
“The road to the young man's house is very difficult to travel, there is no electricity on both sides of the road, the houses are deserted, it feels quite desolate,” Mr. Hai added.
Sharing with Mr. Hai, the young man said that with the "huge" lottery winnings, he will give a portion to his family, and also donate a portion to charity, and use the remaining money for business.
