According to Tuoi Tre Online , on September 4, at schools in 7 communes in the Vietnam - Laos border area (the highland district, the old Muong Lat border), Thanh Hoa province, the atmosphere of preparing for the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 was bustling from the villages to the school campus.

Teacher Nguyen Duy Thuy - principal of Trung Ly Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, Trung Ly border commune, Thanh Hoa province - said that to prepare for the special opening ceremony of this school year, on the morning of September 3, the school summoned more than 560 students from remote villages of the commune to school so that they could rest and have fun, creating an exciting atmosphere for the new school year.

The school coordinated with VNPT Muong Lat to connect the Internet to classrooms and halls of the classroom area so that teachers and students could watch the opening ceremony live on VTV1 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. on September 5. After that, the school organized the first lesson.

At Pu Nhi Primary School, Pu Nhi border commune, Thanh Hoa province, by the afternoon of September 4, all preparations for facilities and equipment for the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 had been completed.

Teacher Nguyen Tien Hiep - principal of Pu Nhi Primary School - shared that because Pu Nhi Secondary School is under construction of many items, the school yard is full of materials; the yard of Pu Nhi Kindergarten is narrow, so the People's Committee of the commune allowed 3 schools to hold a joint opening ceremony at Pu Nhi Primary School.

This is the first time 3 schools have organized a joint opening ceremony with more than 1,000 students gathered at one location, so the school has arranged umbrellas for students to shade them from the sun, and installed 3 large-screen TVs connected to the Internet in the school yard for teachers, students, and parents to watch the new school year opening ceremony live on VTV1 channel.
