(CTT-Dong Nai) - On the morning of September 5, along with localities in the province and the whole country, schools in Chon Thanh ward solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

Comrades in the Standing Committee, Standing Committee, and Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee also attended the opening ceremony with teachers and students of the schools.

At Chu Van An A High School, attending the opening ceremony was Secretary of the Ward Party Committee Nguyen Minh Binh.

This new school year, Chu Van An A High School has a total of 69 staff and teachers, welcoming 330 students to grade 10, bringing the total number of students in the school to 1,039. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has made great efforts to carry out teaching and learning. As a result, 63.9% of students achieved good and excellent academic performance, 17 students achieved provincial-level excellent students, and 3 projects won prizes in provincial-level science and technology competitions. Many teachers were awarded certificates of merit at all levels; of which 4 teachers were proposed to receive certificates of merit from the Prime Minister.

At the opening ceremony, Secretary of the Chon Thanh Ward Party Committee Nguyen Minh Binh congratulated Chu Van An A High School. In addition, businesses and benefactors also awarded many scholarships to excellent students and students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 69 million VND to encourage and help students have better learning conditions.

In Chon Thanh ward, there are currently 8 public schools, including: 4 kindergartens, 1 primary school and 3 secondary and high schools with a total of more than 8,200 students.
