Vietnamese women's volleyball team determined to win historic victory at World Championship

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have only one last chance to find a win at the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship.

After August 25, the situation in Group G has been determined. The Vietnamese and Kenyan women's volleyball teams have been officially eliminated after losing all 2 matches. The two teams that will advance will be Poland and Germany.

The remaining issue will be the final rankings of the teams. In the final match on August 27, Poland and Germany will compete for first and second place in the group.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese and Kenyan women's volleyball teams will compete to determine the 3rd and 4th place teams. Although they have been eliminated, the motivation of the two teams is still very high because a victory will be a great consolation.

This is even more special for the Vietnamese team as it is their first time participating in a world tournament. A historic victory on this occasion will bring explosive emotions not only to the athletes, coaching staff but also to domestic fans.

Sharing after the match against Germany, opposite Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh showed her determination in the match against Kenya. She said: "The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has tried their best in the past two matches. Now we have one more match against Kenya. The whole team will continue to strive to bring home the victory."

The athlete born in 2001 also thanked the fans who accompanied the team throughout the journey from the beginning of the tournament.

Meanwhile, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet commented that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had encountered many difficulties against European opponents.

He commented: "Today, the team did not play badly. But the German women's team, with their better speed and height, caused difficulties for the Vietnamese team."

However, this strategist believes that the athletes have matured through each match at the World Championship. These are valuable experiences, helping the team confidently look forward to the SEA Games which will take place at the end of the year, also in Thailand.
