On the evening of June 13, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City), the Binh Dinh Summer Tourism Festival 2025 with the theme "Quy Nhon - Sea Paradise - Aspiration to Reach Far" officially opened, attracting tens of thousands of people, tourists and businesses to attend.
Tens of thousands of people and tourists came to Quy Nhon City on the opening night of the Binh Dinh Summer Tourism Festival 2025.
Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and representatives of departments, branches, and tourism businesses inside and outside the province.
In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that Binh Dinh is gradually positioning itself as a new destination on the tourism map of Vietnam and the region. "We hope that visitors to Binh Dinh will bring back memorable experiences, not only from the natural beauty but also from the cultural depth and friendliness of the people here," Mr. Giang emphasized.
In 2024, Binh Dinh will welcome more than 9.2 million tourists with revenue of VND 25,500 billion, ranking 8th out of 30 provinces and cities in terms of provincial tourism development index. Quy Nhon City continues to be honored as "ASEAN Clean Tourist City".
Immediately after the opening ceremony, there was a vibrant art program, combining tradition and modernity. Martial arts and drum performances typical of Binh Dinh, intertwined with modern EDM performances, created a vibrant and exciting atmosphere. The program also featured performances by famous artists such as Quang Hung MasterD, Quan AP, Liz Kim Cuong, along with a fashion show by the contestants of Miss and Mister World Supermodel 2025.
Binh Dinh Summer Tourism Festival 2025 opens a series of summer events lasting from June to September, including many attractive activities such as: VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2025, UIM F1H2O World Professional Powerboat Championship, hot air balloon - paragliding - drone light show festival, super yacht festival, Quintessence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea Festival...
Through the festival, Binh Dinh continues to affirm its determination to develop green, sustainable tourism and become the southern service - tourism center of the Central region.
