Da Nang Secretary: 'Hope School is a model to learn from when building a boarding school'

Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang said that the city is currently building 6 schools for mountainous communes bordering the border, and suggested that the education sector should learn from the management model of Hy Vong School.

On August 8, Hy Vong School (Da Nang) inaugurated a new facility atFPT Da Nang Technology Urban Area. This is a place to care for and educate hundreds of children orphaned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new facility of Hy Vong School has a total area of over ^6,500m2 , including classrooms and a closed dormitory with full amenities.

Next to it, there are also functional rooms for the library, robotics, music , baking... to help children learn and practice, experience diversity and develop their own abilities.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee - emphasized that the establishment of the Hope School is a noble gesture of mutual love and support.

He believes that with the experience in comprehensive management and training of FPT Corporation, Hope School will bring students a safe and comfortable learning and living environment so that they can be confident, mature and happy.

Hope School was established in 2021 by FPT Corporation and Hope Foundation, located in FPT City Da Nang urban area, to share love, nurture and train students who lost their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To date, the school has more than 300 students from 29 provinces and cities across the country. Under this roof, the students live in love, study in a quality environment, with the belief that they will become kind, compassionate people, ready to join hands to build their homeland and country.
