"The Art of Conducting Orchestras and Choirs" and "Happy Harmony" are two works by Dr. Nguyen Bach, published by Dong Hanh Art in collaboration with the Vietnamese Women's Publishing House and the Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House. The books provide readers with some basic knowledge about conducting choirs, choirs and conducting orchestras.

Currently, Vietnamese documents on the art of conducting are quite scarce, so there are many people who have conducted church or school choirs or want to enter the field of conducting, but do not have study materials to study. Therefore, this book is a necessary document in the field of orchestra conducting.

The book consists of 3 parts, including Part I: General conducting techniques, presenting issues related to conducting techniques that have been systematized according to international standards such as: standing posture while conducting, charts guiding the playing of rhythms with non espressivo, espressivo, molto espressivo - legato, staccato, marcato techniques, initiation and termination techniques, "hot stove" techniques, intensity expression techniques, left hand techniques, harmony techniques...

Part II: Choir Conducting covers issues related to choirs, from forming or reforming choirs, how to arrange and organize rehearsals, to training methods.

In addition, the book also guides how to analyze a piece of music, presents criteria for evaluating the value of a piece of music, helping choir conductors grasp the factors to evaluate a piece of music before deciding to choose it for practice.

The launch ceremony left a strong impression with a live performance.

Part III: Conducting an Orchestra deals with the concept of musical instruments, types of orchestras, and orchestral arrangements. The purpose of this part is to familiarize the reader with the types of musical instruments and the seating of the artists in the orchestra so that they are not surprised when they have the opportunity to conduct a choir or orchestra.

In addition to the main content, there are also appendices to provide additional support for learners, especially Appendix 3, "Lookup of specialized terms" and Appendix 4, "List of figures and charts related to command techniques". These are two appendices that were not included in the previous edition.
