Arrested 2 subjects who broke into a house and stole many properties

On the afternoon of July 18, the leader of Bao Loc Ward 1 Police (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had just successfully cracked down on a property theft case that occurred in the area and arrested two related subjects.

Accordingly, the two arrested subjects are: Nguyen Van Son (27 years old) and Doan Van Kiet (36 years old). In which, subject Kiet was arrested while hiding in Ben Cat ward ( Ho Chi Minh City); Son was arrested while hiding in Bao Vinh ward (Dong Nai province), which is the residence of the subjects before committing the crime.

The door of a resident's house was broken into by two people who stole property.

According to information from the investigation agency, earlier, at noon on July 10, Bao Loc Ward 1 Police received a report from Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Vi H. (resident of the locality) reporting that her house had been broken into and many valuable assets were stolen.

Stolen assets included laptops, iPads, many watches, gold chains and some cash with a total value of more than 100 million VND.

After receiving the report, the leaders of Ward 1 Bao Loc Police quickly directed professional forces to verify the incident; at the same time, conducted a crime scene investigation to collect documents and evidence to serve the investigation and search for the subjects.

The number of watches stolen by the two burglars was recovered by the police.

Using professional measures, Bao Loc Ward 1 Police quickly identified the two subjects who committed the theft as Doan Van Kiet and Nguyen Van Son. However, after committing the theft, the two subjects quickly escaped from Lam Dong province.

From identified information sources, the leaders of Ward 1 Bao Loc Police sent reconnaissance teams to coordinate with local police to investigate the subjects.

On July 17, both Kiet and Son were controlled and arrested by detectives of Bao Loc Ward 1 Police.

Working with the police, Kiet and Son confessed to all acts of property theft. The police also recovered some assets related to the theft; at the same time, they are focusing on expanding the investigation to handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.

Bao Loc Ward 1 Police recommend that people living in the area be vigilant; at the same time, install anti-theft devices and security cameras to prevent theft, protect family property and contribute to ensuring security and order in the locality.
