This year, with the participation and competition of many businesses, the Appraisal Council and the Selection Council consisting of experienced experts from relevant departments and professional agencies conducted serious, public, and transparent evaluations according to the strict scoring criteria of the Construction Organizing Committee.
Through the selection process, 98 enterprises were identified as qualified to be awarded the title of "Green Enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City" in 2024. Of these, 53 enterprises are in the field of production and business and 45 enterprises are in the fields of trade - services and real estate. The 98 excellent enterprises honored today are shining examples, representing the spirit of responsibility, creativity and perseverance in protecting the environment.
This is the second time the "Green Business" award has been held at the city level. In 2023, the award honored 90 businesses. This year, 98 businesses are eligible to be awarded the title "Ho Chi Minh City Green Business 2024". Of which, 53 are in the manufacturing and business sector and 45 are in the trade - service and real estate sectors.
The program to select and honor the title "Green Enterprise" is organized with three core purposes: One is to honor, reward, and encourage enterprises to comply with regulations on waste treatment arising in the production and business process, and to have many researches and productions of environmentally friendly products; Two is to enhance the responsibility of enterprises in protecting the environment, aiming for sustainable growth; And three is to support enterprises in promoting, improving competitiveness, and integrating into the international economy .
