Dan Tri Newspaper launches Vietnam ESG Forum

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper emphasized that the launching ceremony of the Vietnam ESG Forum marks an important milestone in Vietnam's sustainable development journey, demonstrating the strong commitment of the business community and investors to building a green, safe and prosperous future for future generations.

According to Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, ESG - short for Environment, Society and Governance - has become an inevitable trend in business activities globally. Enterprises that successfully apply ESG principles not only bring benefits to the environment and society but also contribute to enhancing reputation, operational efficiency, attracting investment and increasing brand value.

Accordingly, in Vietnam, ESG is increasingly receiving attention from the Government , businesses and investors. However, there are still many challenges that need to be addressed to promote effective ESG application. This Vietnam ESG Forum is an opportunity for us to discuss, share experiences and propose solutions to these challenges.

The launching ceremony of the Vietnam ESG Forum is the beginning of a series of activities organized by Dan Tri Newspaper in 2024, including:

Seminars and workshops on ESG, aiming to increase awareness and knowledge about ESG for the Vietnamese business community.

Analyze and evaluate the implementation status and ESG standards in Vietnam, thereby proposing appropriate solutions and development directions.

Building a community to share experiences, learn and promote sustainable business development.

The highlight of the Vietnam ESG Forum will be the annual ceremony to honor organizations and units aiming for sustainable development.

Within the framework of the Launching Ceremony, the Vietnam ESG Forum also launched the Vietnam ESG Forum High-Level Council.
