Leanna Paul, a model with more than 50,000 followers on her personal page, confirmed her split from Delap on July 23. Previously, during Chelsea's participation in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the US, Paul posted a controversial status on his personal page: "You can't keep someone loyal just by loving them more."
According to Mirror , Paul wanted to allude to Liam Delap's affair right after he moved to Chelsea this summer, causing the couple's relationship to crack. The WAGs is said to be the one who took the initiative to end the relationship right when Delap was playing in the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
Delap and Leanna Paul have been dating since 2024, when he was playing for Ipswich Town. The 25-year-old model often went to the stadium to cheer on the English striker. However, since Delap moved to Chelsea, Paul has been absent from events with the striker.
Before Delap, another Chelsea star, Cole Palmer, also split from his girlfriend Connie Grace shortly after the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Palmer's long-time girlfriend had been trying to convince him to get married for over a year, hoping to make their relationship official.
