Bac Kan established the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Transport and Agricultural Works in the North

BBK - On June 15, the People's Committee of Bac Kan province issued Decision No. 1261/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Northern Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board.

From June 26, 2025, the Management Board of Agricultural and Rural Development Construction Investment Projects and the Management Board of Transport Construction Investment Projects will officially merge into the Management Board of Northern Transport and Agricultural Construction Investment Projects.

According to the decision, the new Board was established on the basis of merging two units: the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Provincial Agricultural and Rural Development Construction Investment Project Management Board. After the merger, the Board operates under the regional project management model, is a public service unit that self-insures regular expenses, is under the Provincial People's Committee, has legal status, its own seal and account.

The new Project Management Board will inherit all rights, obligations, assets and personnel from the two old units; at the same time, organize and re-arrange personnel in accordance with job positions according to legal regulations. The functions, tasks and organizational structure of the unit will be decided by the Provincial People's Committee in the coming time.

The merger of the two Boards is a concrete step in the administrative reform process, helping the province to concentrate resources, enhance the management efficiency of construction investment projects in key areas, meeting the requirements of socio -economic development. It is a step to perfect the organization, streamline the apparatus, and improve the efficiency of construction investment management in the province./.
