On September 9, in Hanoi, Sound Healing World Joint Stock Company met with a number of units and partners to introduce and share about the music and sound project for mental health care and launch the "Sound Healing Concert" program series - bringing music to help relax and balance physical and mental health in a modern society full of stress and pressure.
Insomnia seems to be just a nuisance from a life full of worries, but it is the cause of many problems with mental and physical health. The more hurried and hurried life becomes, the more sleep becomes a concern for many people, regardless of age and gender.
Himalayan singing bowl sound therapy uses handcrafted singing bowls from the Himalayas, the world's top land, to create sounds and vibrations that help the brain and body achieve a state of relaxation. It appeared in Vietnam about 10 years ago. After the persistent practice of sound health therapists, this field has made great strides in Vietnam. OM Himalayas is the pioneer in bringing Himalayan singing bowl therapy to many provinces and cities and has established centers to apply this therapy in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In Asian countries such as Nepal, India, China, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Thailand, etc., this method is also becoming more and more popular. In many countries such as Germany, Austria, the US, Canada, etc., it is also applied and practiced as a "medicine for sleep".
OM Himalayas founder Nguyen Manh Duy said: more than 20 programs called "Journey of Silence" initiated since May 2023 have spread widely, bringing the experience of sound and music as a precious medicine for health.
From that foundation, Sound Healing World decided to develop the “Sound Healing Concert” on a professional scale. Opening this series of projects were two Sound Healing Concerts 2025, which were successfully held on September 6 and 7 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of legendary Zen singer Ani Choying Drolma.
According to Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital, in traditional medicine, humans are seen as a unified entity of body-mind-spirit. When the spirit is restless, the blood and energy are disturbed, and diseases will arise. On the contrary, when the soul is at peace, the body is also healthy. And sound in traditional medicine is considered an invisible but effective medicine. For thousands of years, our ancestors have used the five tones in ancient music to regulate the body and mind, associated with the principle of yin-yang-five elements-five internal organs. Each sound is not only for enjoyment, but also a resonance therapy that helps regulate the five internal organs and emotions.

Sound not only enters the ears, but also affects the entire body: on the nervous system (relieving stress, regulating heart rate and breathing); on the blood (helping circulation, reducing muscle stiffness, bringing the body into a state of relaxation); on the spirit (leading the mind from agitation to stillness, like when meditating).
Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Minh said that Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital is gradually applying sound therapy. That is, combining acupuncture, massage, acupressure with music therapy to increase the effectiveness of pain relief and sedation; using meditation music, bells, drums, and running water to support the treatment of sleep disorders, stress, and depression; instructing patients to combine breathing with the rhythm of sound to clear the blood, balance yin and yang... Thanks to that, patients can relax more easily, sleep more deeply, and have a more optimistic spirit.
