Implementing the Prime Minister's direction, the emulation movement "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture" has been widely deployed, in which the culture, sports and tourism (CST) sector is one of the pioneering fields with many creative and practical models.

The movement's goal is to build a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with exemplary conduct, high sense of responsibility, and a dedicated and thoughtful attitude towards serving the people. In addition, the movement also aims to create a modern, professional and transparent working environment, contributing to building a service-oriented administration that focuses on people and businesses.

Da Nang Department of Tourism has implemented many models to promote the application of digital technology.

In recent years, many agencies and units in the culture, sports and tourism sector have had good practices, becoming bright spots in implementing office culture as a criterion for annual emulation evaluation of cadres, civil servants and public employees. Thanks to that, the quality has been significantly improved, the image of the sector has become increasingly close and friendly in the eyes of the people and tourists.

At the local level, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang has implemented many models to promote the application of digital technology in handling administrative procedures. Thanks to that, the time for processing documents for people and businesses has been reduced, creating satisfaction and strengthening trust in the administrative apparatus.

In the field of sports, the Hanoi National Sports Training Center has incorporated the code of conduct for office culture into regular activities, requiring officers, coaches, and employees to strictly implement the principles of “discipline – responsibility – exemplary”. The working environment has thus become more professional, contributing to improving the quality of training, serving national sports delegations in international competitions.

From the models of emulation in implementing office culture, tourism development work is promoted.

In the tourism sector, Ninh Binh province – the locality with the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage – has focused on building the image of a “friendly office, close to the people”. Officers and employees at the provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center are trained in communication skills, foreign languages, and cultural behavior, thereby improving the quality of service to tourists. This model is highly appreciated by the people and has been introduced by the General Department of Tourism to be replicated in many localities.

The emulation movement to implement office culture not only improves service quality, but also contributes to building a united and healthy working environment. The sense of responsibility, exemplary behavior and standard attitude of the staff are important factors for the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to successfully carry out assigned political and professional tasks.

In the coming time, to make the movement more effective, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector needs to continue to focus on fostering soft skills, applying digital technology in management work; linking the implementation of office culture with emulation and reward assessment; and at the same time, building a strict monitoring mechanism to ensure seriousness and sustainability.

By implementing this movement well, the cadres, civil servants and public employees of the culture, sports and tourism sector will become the pioneering force in building a professional, modern administration dedicated to serving the people. This is also a practical step to contribute to building an advanced Vietnamese culture, imbued with national identity, bringing Vietnamese sports and tourism to the international level.
