Announcing the program of Vietnam Digital Content Creation Day

On September 10, under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information in collaboration with VnExpress Newspaper and FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company announced the program of Vietnam Digital Content Creation Day - Vietnam iContent 2025.

Accordingly, Vietnam iContent 2025 will start from September 2025 and end with the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Festival at the end of November 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. The program will include a series of main activities:

Vietnam iContent Awards 2025: Honoring organizations/individuals who create content operating on digital platforms in the Vietnamese market. The award will take place from September 2025 to November 2025 on the program's website https://vnexpress.net/giai-tri/vietnam-icontent with three stages: Nomination round (from September 4, 2025 to September 25, 2025), Voting round (from October 3, 2025 to October 24, 2025) and Final round (from October 30, 2025 to November 18, 2025).

The award structure of Vietnam iContent Awards 2025 will continue to inherit and develop from the first season program with three main categories:

Digital Creator: Content Creator of the Year; Content Creation Organization of the Year; Upcoming Content Creator; Most Popular Content Creator.

Digital Products: Inspirational Music; Inspirational TV Show; Inspirational Video ; Digital Phenomenon of the Year.

For the community: Organization For the community; Individual For the community.

Insight Out Talkshow: One of the accompanying activities within the framework of Vietnam iContent 2025 is an online talkshow called "Insight Out" held in September - October 2025. Following the interesting career stories of content creators shared in the first season, the Insight Out talkshow series shares perspectives from management agencies, platforms, businesses, advertising media units, multi-channel service providers (MCNs) and content creators. Here, guests share content on strategic thinking, social impact and social responsibility of content creation, with topics such as: managing and exploiting the advantages of content creation, the journey of building a sustainable brand with the content creation industry, using platform technologies to connect users with creators, etc.

Creator Camp: Organized by Meta within the framework of Vietnam iContent 2025, the program is designed as a creative space where hundreds of content creators have the opportunity to meet, exchange and connect. Here, content creators will experience many unique sharing and interactive activities.

The program is scheduled to take place in mid-September in Ho Chi Minh City, promising to become a special highlight of the Vietnam iContent 2025 event series, both connecting and inspiring, and creating a new playground for the content creation community to express their personalities and explore new tools for their work and passion.

In particular, for the first time within the framework of the event, Vietnam iContent 2025 will organize a livestream sales session to raise funds to support community programs and projects, with the participation of prestigious KOLs and KOCs. The livestream sales session will be conducted directly at the event and professionally operated by TikTok. Products sold at the livestream session will include genuine items, agricultural products, local specialties and products promoting the country's culture. This is not only an activity to increase real-life interactions but also a way for content creators to spread humane messages, enhancing the social role of digital content and brands in the new era.

The highlight of the festival is the Vietnam iContent Awards 2025, bringing together hundreds of content creators and famous guest artists, promising to create a meaningful and exciting night of honor.

Overview of the announcement ceremony of Vietnam Digital Content Creation Day 2025

At the press conference, answering the question about the recent upheavals for celebrities in general and KOLs in particular, today they may be loved by many people but tomorrow they will be involved in scandals, even falling into legal trouble. If a content creator who won an award from Vietnam iContent falls into that situation, how will the Organizing Committee handle it?

Answering this question, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Quang Tu Do said that in the awards there are criteria for the community and the jury to judge, the contest honors the awards towards the actions of that person, not about that person.

"For example, the Organizing Committee awarded the 2024 Prize to Khoai Lang Thang because he has digital content serving the community, not because he is a good person. If a bad situation occurs, the prize can be revoked, but it must be in the direction that those activities are not true and violate the criteria of the contest. Or another example is Quang Linh Vlog, they did many good things before, but the following year they entered the legal circle, these are two separate things, not because of that they deny their previous contributions to the community" - Mr. Le Quang Tu Do, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said.

It is known that Vietnam iContent was first held in 2024 with the goal of becoming an annual and prestigious event for digital content creators, aiming to recognize, honor and orient the development of content creation activities on digital platforms. The event quickly affirmed its position and impact in the field of digital content creation when receiving the attention of many creators, and at the same time became a meeting place for exchange, experience sharing and connection between platforms, brands and the content creation community.
