In Group C, U23 Vietnam started with a 2-0 victory over U23 Bangladesh, then defeated U23 Singapore and U23 Yemen with the same score of 1-0.
Winning all 3 matches, scoring 4 goals and not conceding any, U23 Vietnam entered the final round as group leader.
In the letter, AFC highly appreciated the resilient fighting spirit and dedication of the U23 Vietnam players throughout the qualifying journey, affirming that the team's all-win record is proof of the serious preparation and mettle of an ambitious team.
In addition to congratulating the team, AFC also sent thanks to VFF and the local organizing committee of Phu Tho province for their coordination in successfully organizing the qualifying round of Group C, taking place from September 3 to September 9, 2025 at Viet Tri Stadium.
