4 collectives and 13 individuals of the General Department of Customs were awarded the Medal of Honor

(HQ Online) - The President has just signed Decision No. 164/QD-CTN on awarding the First, Second and Third Class Military Exploit Medals to 4 groups and 13 individuals of the General Department of Customs.

Accordingly, the President awarded the First Class Military Exploit Medal to Mr. Nguyen Van On, Deputy Director of the Anti-Smuggling Investigation Department, General Department of Customs (now Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department).

Awarding the Second Class Military Exploit Medal to the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; the Anti-smuggling Investigation Department and individuals: Mr. Le Van Cuong (Team Leader), Mr. Hoang Vu Long (Deputy Team Leader) of the Northern Anti-smuggling Drug Control Team, Anti-smuggling Investigation Department; Mr. Do Manh Hung, Head of the Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, Hanoi Customs Department.

Awarding the Third Class Military Exploit Medal to the Customs Control Team, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch and individuals: Mr. Phan Minh Le, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huyen, Official of the Export Baggage Procedures Team, Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; Mr. Luu Viet Ha (Deputy Team Leader), Mr. Truong Son Duong (Civil Servant) of the Northern Anti-Smuggling Control Team, Anti-Smuggling Investigation Department; Mr. Tran Cong Trai (Head of the Customs Control Team, Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, Hanoi Customs Department); Mr. Vu Trung Thanh, Official of the Anti-Drug Control Team, Hanoi Customs Department.

Collectives and individuals awarded the Medal of Military Exploit have made outstanding and extraordinary achievements in the fight against, detection and coordination in arresting many cases of illegal transportation of drugs and counterfeit money, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
