21 students of Hope School hold their coming of age ceremony: Sweet fruit after a journey of love

Last weekend, Hy Vong School held a coming-of-age ceremony for 21 students, an emotional milestone that ended a three-year journey at this special school – a place that nurtures disadvantaged and disadvantaged children due to Covid-19. It was not only a graduation day but also an affirmation: the students are ready to grow up, become strong and independent, and embark on a new journey in life.

The 21 students attending the coming-of-age ceremony were all students who had completed three years of high school at Hy Vong School. Three years was not only a time of study, but also a journey where they were cared for, loved, accompanied and oriented towards their future in a compassionate environment.

The years of high school not only help students have a solid knowledge foundation, but also provide them with the conditions to cultivate life skills, life values ​​and positive emotions - things that not every child is lucky enough to have after the incident. And now, when officially entering adulthood, they carry with them not only knowledge, but also warm memories of the place that sheltered and nurtured them throughout their adulthood.

Recalling the first days of coming to Hy Vong School, many students still carry in their hearts the feeling of loss and disappointment. But in the arms of teachers, friends and the warm and loving school, they gradually regained their faith, found laughter again and grew up day by day. The ceremony was an opportunity for them to look back on the past three years - the days of laughter in the dormitory, the hours of tireless study, and the moments of sharing and comforting each other to overcome difficulties.

One of the most touching stories is the journey of brothers LHN and LGN. Losing both parents in a short time, father due to stroke, mother due to pandemic, HN gave up studying and was uncertain about the future ahead. But then, the persistence and persuasion of teachers for many months brought the two brothers back to the house of Hope. At the coming of age ceremony, both of them happily walked up to the podium to receive their diplomas, carrying proud eyes and bright smiles.

As for PHM, the girl who once insisted on returning home, who felt lonely and lost when she first entered the school, now choked up when she was about to leave that beloved school. The warm lessons with teachers, the happy moments of studying and playing with friends have become unforgettable memories for her. Mai shared that teachers, friends and love helped her to be strong enough to overcome the most difficult time of her life.

TH true MILK glasses have accompanied Hy Vong School students on their journey to maturity since the very beginning.

The Hope School has opened as a special home - sheltering and nurturing young buds that need more love. Since the establishment of this second home, the Fund for Vietnamese Stature and TH Group have chosen to accompany the children, giving them cups of TH true MILK fresh milk - as a loving support, contributing to helping the children grow up healthy and full of positive energy. Over the past 3 years, the two units have donated more than 81,000 cups of fresh milk to support their journey to adulthood. This is one of a series of pioneering and persistent actions by the TH Group and the Fund for Vietnamese Stature to implement school nutrition and school health programs over the years - for the stature of the young generation of Vietnam, as well as supporting families affected by Covid-19.

Students of Hy Vong School recycled milk cartons after drinking into products to participate in the U-Event 2024 Creative Science Competition and won the Bronze prize - as a special gratitude to TH Group and the For Vietnamese Stature Fund.

Sending her love to the 21 students at the coming-of-age ceremony, Ms. Tran Hong Diep - Director of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature, representing the units said: "Seeing you grow up today, I am truly touched and proud. Over the past three years, although I have not been with you every day, I and the uncles and aunts in the Fund and TH Group have always followed your growing steps. I wish you all to be steadfast on the journey ahead and always remember that, anywhere, anywhere, there are always people who believe in and love you! "
