However, the 29-year-old beauty quickly denied it.
When appearing at an event in March 2023, Ngoc Chau revealed her less-than-slim, concave waistline, causing confusion. Many people believe that the Tay Ninh -born model had undergone abdominal surgery and the results were not as expected.
In response, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 said that she had gained nearly 60kg due to irregular eating. The beauty from Tay Ninh also said that she would adjust her diet to regain her original figure.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau was born in 1994, from Tay Ninh. She was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, becoming Vietnam's representative at the Miss Universe 2022 contest held in the US.
Previously, Ngoc Chau won many awards such as Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018 and Champion of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2016.
When she was first crowned, Ngoc Chau impressed with her sweet beauty and was likened to an "Asian doll". However, during her tenure, the beauty queen was repeatedly suspected of having undergone plastic surgery. However, she has repeatedly denied having had plastic surgery.
