On the evening of September 12, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attended the ceremony to celebrate the 995th anniversary of the name Nghe An (1030-2025), the 95th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2025) and received the certificate of ranking as a special national monument "Places marking the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement (1930-1931) in Nghe An".

Before the ceremony, delegates from the Central Government and Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great resistance wars of the nation at the memorial house in the grounds of the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum.

The celebration aims to contribute to affirming, honoring and spreading the historical values, cultural traditions, revolution and cultural identity of Nghe An throughout the 995 years since the name Nghe An was recorded in history books.

At the same time, we pay tribute to and honor the previous generations who made many contributions and sacrifices in the cause of building and defending the country, especially the great contributions in the Nghe Tinh Soviet revolutionary movement 1930-1931.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that after nearly 10 centuries under the name Nghe An, this land has witnessed and participated in every change of the nation.

Over the past 995 years, Nghe An has preserved, created, cultivated and crystallized beautiful cultural and spiritual values. The name Nghe An has therefore become a source of pride, a symbol of the will, determination and aspiration to rise of many generations.

In that journey, the Nghe Tinh Soviet was the first rehearsal, the heroic epic that preluded the great victory of the August Revolution in 1945.

95 years have passed but the Soviet heritage of Nghe Tinh still retains its value with vestiges preserved in this revolutionary homeland.

"Being proud of the past, we are more deeply aware of our responsibility for the present and the future. Promoting the glorious tradition, over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An have united, strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and achieved comprehensive and proud achievements," said Mr. Vinh.

Mr. Vinh said that to carry out President Ho Chi Minh's will to make Nghe An a prosperous province of the country, the cadres, party members and people of the province will uphold the spirit of solidarity, overcome difficulties, be proactive and creative, promote the patriotic emulation movement, and be determined to successfully complete the set targets, goals and tasks.

At the same time, continue to research and collect historical documents, coordinate with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to build scientific records of other typical relic sites of this movement, creating a widespread and unified relic complex as it once took place in history.

Train and foster a team of cadres of the relic site with high professional quality and revolutionary ethics to well meet the task of introducing and welcoming domestic and international visitors when they come to this special national relic complex.

Concentrate resources, strengthen coordination with socio-political organizations to invest, restore, embellish and promote the value of worthy relics to affirm the strength of the worker-peasant masses; of the worker-peasant alliance under the leadership of the Party.

On this occasion, Nghe An Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism cooperated with a unit to launch the night experience show "Soviet Fire".

This is the first professional cultural industrial product, applying digital technology 4.0 in Nghe An and the Central region to honor and help the audience deeply understand the great historical values ​​of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement.

The highlight is the spectacular 3D Mapping performance, combining music and laser light, recreating the Soviet spirit of 1930-1931.

The program will initially open every Saturday, becoming a new nightlife destination in Nghe An; bringing a meaningful, emotional and modern cultural experience to locals and visitors.
