BHG - Currently, in addition to the folk art teams in communes, villages, and hamlets, Xin Man district has established and maintained the effective operation of 13 folk culture clubs in 13 villages in 11 communes. The district's Department of Culture, Science and Information actively implemented survey and field investigation steps, closely coordinating with local authorities, artisans and local people to ensure the effectiveness of the program. The communes selected to effectively deploy and maintain the Club include: Then Phang, Nam Dan, Ta Nhiu, Trung Thinh, Thu Ta, Che La, Pa Vay Su, Chi Ca, Nan Ma, Na Chi and Quang Nguyen. The Folk Culture Club was established on a voluntary basis, under the guidance of local outstanding artisans. The Club developed operating regulations, organized the Club's launching ceremony and coordinated the implementation of teaching and training activities according to the plan. Mr. Sung Minh Thanh, Head of the Mong Ethnic Folk Culture Club in Nan Ma village (Nan Ma commune) said: The village has 100% Mong ethnic people living; the Club is a place for cultural activities of artisans in the village. The members have the responsibility to connect with each other to practice and perform the performances of the Mong ethnic people and other ethnic groups.

The highlight of the club's activities is the focus on restoring and teaching the beauty of traditional cultural activities that are at risk of being lost. Under the dedicated guidance of artisans, club members learn to sing folk songs and perform traditional musical instruments such as: Khen dance, goose dance, bowl dance, tea picking dance, singing... In particular, some rituals and performances that had been forgotten for many years such as goose dance have been successfully restored. This not only preserves, conserves and promotes the beauty of traditional culture for the community but also creates a strong connection between generations. Ms. Hoang Thi Hoai, Head of the Nung Ethnic Folk Culture Club in Na Chan village (Nam Dan commune) shared: In addition to performing arts on holidays and Tet, the club is ready to perform for tourists when they visit the Nam Dan Ancient Stone Beach tourist site and regularly coordinates with local schools to organize traditional cultural teaching sessions for students.

According to the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Xin Man district, in order for the Club to maintain and promote its effectiveness, each Club has arranged personnel and arranged practice locations. The participating artisans guide and teach many contents such as: How to organize a folk cultural activity, learn about rituals, beliefs, folk songs, folk dances, musical instruments, etc. In addition, the participating members are also guided on methods and skills to establish organizations and operate various types of folk culture clubs; organize and teach folk songs, folk dances, traditional music; provide information and propaganda to serve the preservation and promotion of intangible cultural forms, contributing to improving spiritual life, strengthening the great solidarity bloc and building the New Rural Area.
