Verifying information about teacher suspected of abusing 3-year-old girl in Quy Nhon

Previously, on December 31, 2023, a social media account posted an article with a video denouncing a female teacher suspected of abusing a 3-year-old girl, causing a stir in public opinion in Quy Nhon City.

The person who posted the article said that he discovered his 3-year-old daughter was acting strangely on December 30, 2023. After investigating, he discovered that the child was being abused by a teacher at school.

Teacher "physically impacts" 3-year-old girl

The video posted with the article shows a teacher, while feeding a 3-year-old girl, repeatedly using her hands to "physically impact" the girl.

The article and video caused a stir in public opinion. Through investigation, it was found that this incident happened at a group of children - an independent kindergarten class in Nguyen Van Cu Ward (Quy Nhon City).

Speaking to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, Ms. To Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Quy Nhon City, said that she had received the feedback. However, thiseducational institution is under local management, so the department has sent staff to coordinate with the locality to meet to verify and handle the matter.

On January 3, Ms. Ta Thi Quynh Nga, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Nguyen Van Cu Ward (Quy Nhon City), said that in the afternoon of the same day, the People's Committee of the ward will hold a meeting to clarify information about the incident. "After the meeting results, we will inform the authorities and propose a solution," Ms. Nga added.
