Phu Le Commune evacuated 45 households to safety.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 5, the police force, Party committees, authorities and organizations of Phu Le commune have proactively propagated and mobilized 45 households with 198 people living in vulnerable areas at risk of landslides and flooding to evacuate to safe places.

Along with evacuating people and property to a safe place, Phu Le commune authorities have planned and assigned specific tasks to each department and office; organized people to clear trees along the road corridors; reviewed key points in the area to have timely response plans.

Local forces, means and materials for storm prevention are fully prepared, ready to deploy dike protection plans, protect key dike points according to the "4 on-site" motto when situations arise.

Currently, the commune has assigned forces to patrol and guard the dikes; at the same time, implement measures to drain water and protect the people's rice and crop areas.
